Remember when you could close your eyes and make a wish
When frogs would turn into a prince with just one closed-eyed kiss
But all too soon those magical moments lost or just sadly replaced
With a race to nowhere and hard truths which are seldom faced
Wouldn’t it be a better world if we returned to more virtuous times
Of enchanted dreams, unselfish heroes and innocent nursery rhymes
