Regina Puckett
So many of my wishes never came true
No matter which way the wind blew
I’m certain I did everything right
I wished I may and I wished I might
I closed my eyes and held them tight
As my wishes took they feathery flight
My heart’s desire flew off into lands unknown
I wish now the dandelion had never been blown
