Regina Puckett
Another Sunday morning came and went
A gray sunrise that was frivolously spent
Sitting here at my table thinking of the past
Of how the moments we cherish never last
They come into our lives and then speed away
Before we have the chance to ever say
Pull up a chair so we can share this time
Only a brief second to relish life’s sublime
